How it works

One word, one drama, three steps

Each clip teaches a single word. You meet it in the story, the end card makes it click, and it comes back just before you forget.

  1. Feed screen with the word this clip teaches highlighted in the caption

    01 · Meet

Tap a word in the caption

The end card breaks it down: reading, pitch accent, meaning and an example sentence.

  2. End card for 娘 (musume): a pitch-accent line drawn over the kana and a ③ mark, the meaning and an example sentence, and the "Got it" button at the bottom

    02 · Got it

One tap adds it to review

When it's due, the same clip replays — no flashcard deck to flip through. Tapped by mistake? You can undo it.

  3. Review question "Read · pick the meaning": どきどき in large type above four answer choices

    03 · Mastered

    Read, listen, watch, write

Four question types take turns. Your answers set the grade automatically, and FSRS schedules the next review.
